Spring Sail is ON!
We'll be sailing!
Saturday, March 13th!
If it’s not a train, it seems like there might be a glimpse of a light at the end of the tunnel regarding the COVID pandemic. The Regional Stay Home Order was lifted for the Bay Area as of January 25th. Yacht clubs are tentatively opening with various social distancing protocols.
Weather permitting, we will have our flotilla meet up outside of Ayala Cove (mind the ferry!) at high-noon, where we left off our last adventure (slack-before-ebb in Racoon Straight is at 12:30 pm). We will sail the bay, and then reconvene at Paradise Cove for socially-distant cocktails around 4 pm. Anchor-out if you’d like, and bring a tender. Hope to see you on the water!
We’ve had great success with group sails for the last two MMBA events: the Labor Day Cruise to China Camp, and the New Year’s Day sail (see the article in the Shellback) were well attended and were a great opportunity to see MMBA member boats and their caretakers on the water.
Hope to see you out there!
